Blue Mountains Day Trip

Spend the full day exploring the world-renowned Blue Mountains. If Instagram is your thing, then make sure you have loads of battery in your phone/camera as this is a full-day of epic photos.

After leaving Sydney early your day starts with a visit to our favourite interactive Australian wildlife park, where you can feed a wallaby, cuddle a baby kangaroo, get a selfie with a koala, and see huge crocodiles (sorry no cuddling the crocs). The Featherdale Wildlife Park is an award winning hands-on experience.

Within the Blue Mountains National Park our accredited eco-guides introduce to the stories of the ancient indigenous inhabitants, learn about bush tucker and the native flora and fauna on a series of bush walks, including an amazing cliff face walk down the Furber Steps through the rainforest. The Blue Mountains is famous for its steep sandstone rock formations rising out of deep canyons with thick native forests. You will visit on of Australia’s most iconic landscapes at the Three Sisters, you will be awe-inspired with the incredible views over the Jamison Valley, and have the option to ride the world’s steepest railway (not included). The mountains and forests are rich in colourful birds such as the famous Kookaburra and unique wildlife like the koala, who feed on the blue leaves of eucalyptus trees which give their colour and name to the region.
