We can then join the boat from 1100 and we sail from the port of Split at 1300 heading southwards towards Makarska. Lunch is served while we get our fist views of the beautiful Dalmatian coast. The captain will stop en route at a secluded bay for our first of many amazing Adriatic swims.

An optional zipline ride over the Cetina river canyon is offered for those seeking an adrenaline rush.

That evening we stay in the port of Makarska. Join the locals as they stroll the waterfront with its wide promenade out to the lighthouse, or hang in the main square with its impressive church. Makarska has some really cool bars to explore that evening and grab a bite to eat.

(Lunch is included)

Split to Makarska

We depart Makarska early this morning cruising towards the famous island of Mljet and the Mljet National Park. Before arriving though we will stop for a swim stop in the gorgeous crystal waters of the Pelješac Peninsula.

In the afternoon, on the island of Mlljet you will visit the seawater lakes including the picturesque St Mary’s Island which houses a church and monastery in the middle of Seaton Lake. You can walk around the stunning lakes or hire a bike to explore more. The boat will overnight in the port of Polača or Pomena where there are loads of dinner options

(Breakfast and lunch included)

Makarska to Mljet

A leisurely start this morning as we depart for the the incredible UNESCO World Heritage site of Dubrovnik after breakfast – the most famous town in Croatia and, for many, the highlight of this cruise. The Irish writer George Bernard Shaw called Dubrovnik “heaven on earth”.

The cruise down the coastline is some of the most stunning seascape in the Adriatic. Upon arrival, explore on your own maybe take an optional cable car ride up to the Srđ mountain for spectacular views of the old town and its renowned Goth-Renaissance architecture. Don’t miss Stradun – both a street and a square in the Old Town and walk at least part of the two kilometre long city walls which have protected Dubrovnik during earthquakes and attacks since medieval times – and of course starred in the Game of Thrones TV series! We will overnight in the port of this magical town so you can keep exploring well past nightfall.

(Breakfast and lunch included)

Mljet to Dubrovnik

It is actually hard leaving the cool town of Dubrovnik but after more time exploring we sail late morning towards the island of Šipan or the small town of Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula. The Captain will select on of the gorgeous secluded spots for an afternoon swim. There is an option to visit a local winery some of the finest wine in this part of Europe or go exploring in Trsat where we can admire more fantastic architecture that dates back to the 15th century. In the evening we enjoy the special Captain’s dinner on board and overnight in the port.

(Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included)

Dubrovnik to Sipan/Trstenik

After breakfast, we will depart towards the island of Korčula, the largest in the Kornati National Park. Korčula is famed for its mild climate, vineyards and olive groves. Largely agricultural, it has a wealth of picturesque villages including Blato in which salt flats can be seen near one of its panoramic viewpoints while several beaches, Pansion S Rosa, Zrće and Veliki Banana, are listed among Europe’s most beautiful as well as popular.

It’s supposedly the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. The encircling town walls and bastions date back to the thirteenth century with many of the churches and museums renovated during recent times. Tonight you might want to try one of the numerous seafront restaurants or a konobas – a traditional family run fishing taverna usually in the bottom floor or basement of the families home. We will overnight in the port of Korčula.

(Breakfast and lunch included)

Sipan/Trstenik to Korcula

This morning is an early departure towards the Paklinski Islands near Hvar (the longest island in the Adriatic) for lunch and a swimming stop. Later, there’s time to explore Hvar which resembles a movie set. The Renaissance cathedral has its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612.

Hvar is known as a jet-set island, offering heaps of entertainment, excellent restaurants, bars and cafés serving drinks long into the night. We will overnight on the boat in Hvar giving you plenty of opportunity to explore the island late in to the night.

(Breakfast and lunch included)

Korcula to Hvar

The next stop is the island of Brač and the most famous (and most photographed) beach in Dalmatia. Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) near Bol – famous for its ever changing shape – a shingle bar, or more accurately a `fringing reef“ that moves according to the wind. It is a great place for some on-shore sunbathing and a swim.

Bol itself is a typical fishermen’s village that has kept it’s Adriatic atmosphere despite becoming a popular touristic spot.

After lunch we continue towards Pučišća, a typical Mediterranean village, situated on the northern side of Brač island. Pučišća is home to the world-famous white stone of Brač. There is a possibility of visiting one of the few stone masonry workshops left in Europe.

Tonight we aim for a few drinks on board taking in our last sunset on the boat.

(Breakfast and lunch included)

Hvar to Bol & Pučišća

It is our final morning on the boat so we depart very early from Pučišća to return to Split. We have breakfast while cruising and packing up the ship.

Spend the day exploring Split. Explore the old town at your leisure exploring the maze of streets and cobblestoned lanes that surround the 1700-year old Diocletian’s Palace – the Emperor chose this spot for his retirement villa and made it his permanent residence in AD301. Both the old town and Diocletian’s Palace are under UNESCO protection. People’s Square (Narodni Trg) is the large city square and focal point of public life in Split. Cafes and restaurants spill out into the square and one of the highlights of a visit here is gazing up at the old town clock.

Or considering taking an overnight trip to the incredible Plitvice National Park

U.Impact! Experiences

Two optional Impact Experiences are possible in Croatia. You will have the option to assist one afternoon in a coastline cleanup. Plastics and other rubbish are destroying our oceans and just this little bit makes a huge difference. The second opportunity is a reforestation program. Croatia has suffered many forest fires in the recent decade and by reforesting some of the badly hit areas we help not only with decreasing carbon on the planet but also re-establishing the biosphere and attracting wildlife back to this incredible natural playground.

Your U.Guide will provide everything you need to be part of these giving-back opportunities.
