Blue Mountains Sunset Tour

An amazing way to see the World Heritage area of the incredible Blue Mountains without the normal crowds. As the evening sun dips into a glorious sunset over the rugged cliff tops and native forests a magical wilderness experience is created.

Situated only 50km from the hustle and bustle of Sydney the dramatic mood of the unique sandstone ranges is exacerbated in the late afternoon sunlight. The “blue” comes from a haze-like glow created by the leaves of the eucalyptus trees – the preferred meal of the cuddly Koala Bear.

This trip departs Sydney mid morning stopping for lunch (not included) before we explore the Jamison Valley, the iconic Three Sisters rock formations, a take a hike along some secret trails into breath-taking Wentworth Falls. After our magnificent sunset, we will grab a quick bite to eat (not included) before heading in search of Kangaroos. Much of Australia’s native animals are more active in the dusk hours and we’ll explore some of secret spots where we know we are most likely to spot wildlife such as kangaroos and koalas.

We return to Sydney later in the evening.
